Surface Preparation

To ensure high-quality paint application on RIM polyurethane:

1. Primers: Use a suitable primer, often polyurethane or epoxy-based, that enhances adhesion between the polyurethane and the topcoat.

2. Cleaning: Thorough cleaning is required to remove any mould release agents or surface contaminants.

3. Sanding/Etching: Light sanding or chemical etching may be necessary to create a surface that allows for better paint adhesion.

By carefully selecting the paint type and ensuring proper surface preparation, you can achieve a high-quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing finish on RIM polyurethane enclosures for high-tech equipment.
